One of my besties, Azlina gave me the honour to bake for her daughter, Iman, her 1st birthday cake. She wanted the theme to be baby pink and the cake to be moist dark chocolate cake with loads and loads of chocolate ganache icing. Azlina wanted to also add on her personal touch to the cake. Her request was to have the no 1 just covered in sugarpaste and she will bejeweled that part of the cake herself. Going with this idea in mind, I did a white lace deco for the first tier of the cake and put some crystal beads around the base to tie up the theme. I love how the cake turned out and so did Azlina!!
