My only niece, Myeisha turned 3 last March. I made her a Smurfette cake for her birthday party. Little M had so many ideas and changed her mind every time I asked her what cake she wanted for her birthday. In the end, she narrowed it to two characters, Smurfette or Rumplestiltskin from Shrek. I decided to go ahead with Smurfette as the character was more girlish!!!
The cake wasn't one of my best efforts but overall it turned out quite okay.
The theme of the party was Myeisha's fave cartoon characters. Going with the theme, I made for her a Smurfette cake with butterflies as Myeisha loves butterflies. The cake is strawberry flavoured with vanilla icing.
